AIBC (2nd)

November 2022

Jasper, Alberta

 Charuhas Unni, Marjorie He, Harry Huang, and Amanda Rattle travelled to Jasper, Alberta to compete in the Alberta International Business Competition hosted by the University of Alberta. They completed a 5 hour and a 30 hour case where they presented solutions for Red Bull and the Edmonton Elks.

HSBC/HKU Asia Pacific (2nd)

June 2022

 Chloe Chau, Gary Guo, Hannah Tang, and Thomas Speciel competed in the largest undergraduate case competition in the world, with over 13 local competitions across Asia Pacific leading up to the grand final in Hong Kong where they placed second.

Microsoft x RCIG Innovation Forum (1st)

April 2022

Chloe Chau, Kushagra Jindal, Rachel Ma, and Yeonjoo Kim won first place at the Microsoft and Rotman Commerce Innovation Group Innovation Forum Case Competition and solved a product marketing case for Microsoft Education to promote Microsoft Productivity tools across Canada.

BCG x WFN Pitch the Future (1st)

March 2022

Gloria Yang, Julia Li, Martin Ng, and Thomas Speciel won first place at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) x WFN Pitch the Future Case Competition. Organized by the Western Founders Network, Pitch the Future is a 2.5-week incubator and case competition that challenged undergraduate and graduate students across Canada to develop a healthcare digitalization strategy for a San Francisco-based hospital.

JMUCC (2nd)

March 2022

Montreal

Rachel Ma, Annabeth Lin, Kevin Roe, and Akshay Jain brought home the 2nd place trophy at the John Molson Undergraduate Case Competition organized by Concordia University. JMUCC is the largest international undergraduate case competition. Rachel Ma also won the Best Speaker Award!

Case IT (2nd)

February 2022

Washington DC

Kushagra Jindal, Zimman Yousuf, Yeji Ma, and Thomas Speciel won second place at the CaseIT MIS Case Competition organized by the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University. CaseIT is the Premier International Undergraduate Management Information Systems Case Competition. Zimman Yousuf also won the Best Speaker Award!

UTBA (1st & 2nd)

February 2022

Toronto

Two teams competed in the University of Toronto Business Association Case Competition and placed first and second! The team of Martin Ng, Gary Guo, Amanda Rattle and Chloe Chau placed first and the team of Serah George, Hannah Tang, Andy Lin, and Julia Li placed second.

MBSC (1st)

February 2022

Washington DC

Andy Lin, Henry Zhang, Marjorie He, and Zimman Yousuf competed against 20 select schools and won the McDonough Business Strategy Challenge at Georgetown University. They solved a business problem for local Washington NGO, GOODProjects.

AECC (1st)

January 2022

Alberta

Rachel Ma, Charuhas Unni, Kevin Roe, and Chloe Chau won 1st place at the Alberta Not-for-Profit External Case Competition. AECC is a not-for-profit competition that hosted delegates from 17 different universities and 7 different countries.
